A book and four screen prints, based on my analysis of the ballet ‘The four temperaments’ and its relation to the four humours in medieval philosophy. Where an excess in certain bodily fluids, black bile, blood, phlegm and yellow bile, dictate personality traits. I drew from existing diagrams of the temperaments to inform the overall aesthetic of the project. Each illustration of the humours, is a mapping of the dancer’s movement in relation to time and space.
